Forget the TV audio reception. Now that all broadcast TV is digital, and the CC radio I have only accepts analog signals, TV audio reception is no longer possible.

Thank you for your question.

When the radio was place near a window it performed exceptionally well; even better than it did with the external antenna. I guess this is because there was some signal loss or interference in traveling from the external antenna to the radio. The other radio, Phillips AZ1210, also performed well near the window. Since the CCRadio is much narrower than the Phillips it sat more easily on the windowsill. If you have your own office and you don't have to worry about bothering other people with the noise of your radio, then this is probably the optimal solution since you don't have to be concerned with an external antenna or headphones. I suppose that if you had wireless headphone this would also be a good solution.

Your writeup on the CCRADIO Plus and auxillaryTwin Coil Ferrite AM antenna doesn't seem to fully distinguish between the CCRadio reception with and without the antenna. You said you had poor reception from the radio initially, but then using it with the antenna near the window improved reception a great deal. What you didn't say was what was the recption on just the radio (i.e., w/o antenna) when the radio was placed near the window. Can you elaborate?
