I have no idea how to fix that. It sounds like it might be time for a new printer.

The paper doesn't actually get jammed, the paper moves down, but the rollers block it and doesn't accept the paper, giving me the error that there's no paper.

You need to find out where the jam is occurring and see if anything is blocking it, usually a small scrap of paper. You can get some compressed air and clean it out. Sometimes I have had to disassemble a printer to find the block. If you cannot find anything, or you don't feel comfortable taking it apart, you will either need to take it to a professional cleaner, which can be expensive, or get a new printer.

My Dell 926 printer has worked fine for several years. I recently installed a new color cartridge. After it ran the alignment, it said to remove the tape (which I already had, of course). It would not print in color. The B&W worked fine. I did the unplugging thing. I pulled & reinserted the cartridge. This time the computer recognized the cartridge as full, but still wouldn't print. Tried it again & now the computer won't recognize the cartridge. Is there anything I can do? These thinga are so expensive. Is this a sensor problem?

To all those who cannot scan, your machine will not scan by using the scan function on the printer itself. You need a program, such as Photoshop or something similar. Open that program and "acquire" the scan from the scanner.

The scanner does not resize the object being scanned. To do that, you again need to go into a different program and resize them.

You don't fax from your computer, you fax from the printer. Put what you want faxed in the printer and fax it.

Hope this helped a bit.

What do you mean by blurry? Is it actually altering the clarity of the image or just making it smaller? If it is smaller and you stretch it big it will look blurry. Sometimes email programs will make images smaller so they don't take as long to send. What happens when you take your copies and send those in the email?
It is also possible that the scanner makes a smaller version for email. What happens when you open the attachment before it is sent?

I have a 926 priner that sends blurry images that are scanned and sent through the email. My copies, though, are fine. What do you think is the problem?

My exact problem too! All I can think of is that it did work with my old computer (windows XP) and never worked with my new one, which has Windows Vista. The printer and copier work fine.

I'm wondering if there is a patch to make it compatible?

How do I get the ink cartridge to center so I can replace the cartridge?
